Summary
RunFormula does not collect personal data. The app requires no account, uses no servers of its own, shows no ads and does no tracking. Your data stays on your iPhone and, unless you turn backup off, in your iCloud Drive too.

Data stored on your device
To work, the app stores locally:
- your name, goal, training days and onboarding answers;
- optional profile details: weight and its history, height, birth year and gender;
- logged workouts: date, duration, distance, pace, route, splits, elevation and cadence;
- pre-workout check-ins, including reports of pain or discomfort;
- training plans, personal records and settings.
This data is not transmitted to the developer.
Permissions
- Location: used only during outdoor workouts, including with the screen locked, to measure distance, pace and route.
- Motion & Fitness: used to count steps, which give the distance in Indoor / Treadmill mode and your cadence.
The app does not access photos, contacts, the microphone or the Health app.
iCloud Drive backup
On by default. A copy of your data is saved to the iCloud Drive of your Apple Account, with no access by the developer. You can turn backup off in Profile, and storage is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Third-party services
The app uses Apple services only: the App Store for the Pro purchase (payment is processed by Apple), Apple Maps to display route maps and iCloud Drive for backup.
Your rights
You can delete individual workouts, erase all data in Profile with Reset App, turn off backup and export your data as GPX, CSV or JSON. Requests under GDPR, LGPD or similar laws can be sent to support@edsonbraz.com.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from any user.
This website
runformula.app uses no cookies, visitor analytics or tracking. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may log technical access data, such as IP addresses, for security purposes.
Changes
Changes to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
